IMPZ Wins Best Stand Design Award at Gulf Print and Pack 2007

The International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) has won the award for the best stand design in Gulf Print & Pack 2007, the Middle East’s largest industry event held at the Dubai Airport Expo from April 2 to 5.

The announcement was made on the sidelines of the Gulf Pack Gulf Print Exhibition, which was attended by more than 8,000 trade professionals from the printing, publishing and graphic art industries.

The warm, welcoming and simplistic design of the stand coupled with good lighting effects and superb branding helped notch up the scores in favour of IMPZ.

The same stand design had previously won two awards for IMPZ including the Prestigious PAMEX silver award in India –December 2006 and Publishing Expo exhibition in UK – February 2007.

Other IMPZ branding initiatives at the Gulf Print & Pack Exhibition included the living pool system an interactive floor projection system for unusual and exciting advertising in public spaces. The visual surprise effects of the system drew passers-by and visitors into the scene and the event and through its movement enlivened and animated the projection step-by-step.

The pool system allows individual (re)discovery of advertising, with the passer-by exploring the covered messages of a system or revealing the information hidden in large areas. The viewer becomes part of the action, by individually influencing the advertised message. It was well received by the visitors as an excellent branding initiative to draw attention to the brand.
