Dr. Amina Al Rustamani is the Chief Executive Officer of TECOM Business Parks that has been newly established as an umbrella organisation incorporating free zone clusters such as Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai Studio City, International Media Production Zone, DuBiotech, Dubai Outsource Zone, Dubai International Academic City, and Enpark.

Dr Amina Rustamani will be responsible for guaranteeing the timely delivery of projects, achieving greater cost and process efficiencies, enhancing customer satisfaction, while ensuring the entities remain aligned to the values of TECOM Investments.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Al Rustamani was mandated to lead Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City and International Media Production Zone as the Executive Director - Media, TECOM Investments. Driving the three entities with compelling value propositions, she ensured their continued success by placing them on a sustainable growth path.

As Director of Broadcasting for Dubai Media City in her earlier capacity, Dr. Al Rustamani significantly contributed to the design and implementation of satellite TV broadcasting and video encoding facilities for broadcasters in Dubai Media City and elsewhere in the region.

She has also played a strategic role in shaping Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) as a premier global event, highlighting the works of talented Emirati filmmakers.

Dr. Al Rustamani joined the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone (TECOM) in April 2001 as a Project Engineer for Samacom, the satellite communication services provider.

On the federal level, she is a board member of the UAE National Media Council which was formed in June 2006 to regulate the media sector in the country.

Dr. Al Rustamani received her bachelor’s, Master’s and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering from The George Washington University, Washington D.C. An acknowledged authority on wireless technologies, she has published her doctoral work on engineering theories in several leading journals.

George joined IMPZ as Segment manager for the graphic art segment. Armed with Degree in Bachelor of Commerce from University of Kerala along with Degree in Psychology & Diploma in Civil Engineering, he has a vast & rich experience in the graphic art industry and has spent several years with companies like Heidelberg and Rank industries and has attended several Trainings from “PRINT MEDIA ACADEMY” Heidelberg, Germany.

A pure vegetarian who believes strongly in ‘health is wealth’ has special interest in Music, Psychology & Numerology and spends his free time playing basket ball, cricket.

Khaiyam joined IMPZ in July 2005, and is responsible for administration, as well as setting up various business processes that lead towards overall excellence. With more than 15 years of experience in management, and a masters’ degree in political science and business management, he is best suited to what he does.

Khaiyam is a keen sportsman.

Ali Dawood is the Project Development Manager in IMPZ. His role in TECOM is to look after projects that are developed by the IMPZ such as: Pre-Built, Makateb, Gate & Oasis. He has different hobbies, but the one he enjoys is playing football. In his free time he usually read stories or surf the internet looking for new information about science in general. He has been to many places around the world, Australia is the one he likes and enjoyed staying at.

Diana has worked for six years in Dubai, first at the Jebel Ali Free Zone, followed by Dubai Internet City (DIC) and Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), and later at IMPZ. She has a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and economics, and is working on a master’s.

Diana is a Bulgarian, and loves reading, watching movies and vigorous sports like bicycling, running and swimming.

Before joining IMPZ, Anu used to be a training manager for Dell, in India, where she grew up. As a sales coordinator, she supports the efforts of the sales team, and is in charge of the documentation process with Business Partners.

She is a voracious reader, and loves meeting new people, travelling, listening to music and watching comedies movies in her spare time. Her favorite place on earth is home.

Amine Joined IMPZ in March 2008 in Business Development. He is responsible for the development and operational implementation of the publishing and media segments within the Media Free Zone . From Sydney Australia he holds a Business degree majoring in property economics were he comes from a background in Business Development from the property sector. With special interest in martial arts, in which he holds a black belt in kung fu. He thinks that TECOM Investments is a great organisation to be involved with as it allows for immense professional development with a wonderful group of people.

After working at Emaar for two years, Mohammed joined IMPZ as an administrator, which he thinks is an absolutely marvellous organisation because it is still growing to full potential.

When he is not working, he can be found indulging in his favourite hobbies - singing, dancing, reading, playing football and listening to music. Although his native country is India, his favourite place in the world is Madina in Saudi Arabia.

Mai Kamali works in the Partner Relations dep’t for IMPZ. Her job is to look after the publications that come to the media free zone. Her hobbies are reading novels, exploring the internet and reading magazines. ‘I chose TECOM, because it’s a new place where I could deal with a lot of nationalities and there are a lot of things that I could do to develop my self personally and professionally’.

Being post-graduation in Environment Management & diploma in Industrial safety, Nandkumar is presently appearing for NEBOSH International diploma (Level 6) from UK. He has rich experience in Environment, Health & safety (EHS) issues.

Before joining IMPZ, Nandkumar worked in JAFZA, Dry-docks world, Dubai (formerly Dubai dry-docks).

“He likes to play cricket as outdoor game & indoor chess. In spare time he reads, do net surfing (to know, what he don’t know)

Alia Al Mansoori joined IMPZ team as Business Analyst in July 2006 and she truly feel pleased to be working with the TECOM Investment. She has graduated from Zayed University and carry a bachelor degree on Communication and Media Sciences. She enjoys reading, swimming and creating movies and likes to interact with people from different nationalities. I’m looking forward to understanding the market environment and raise the name of the UAE up high.

Mojdeh Mansouri joined IMPZ in March 2007. With a qualification in software engineering and her previous experience in Advertising and Media, she is working as Business development executive for the Graphic Arts Segment.

She likes to travel and explore more and more about different culture, countries, tradition, religion, language and during free time enjoys writing, shopping, cooking & travelling.

Mojdeh feels really happy to join IMPZ, as it’s a young and successful company and enjoys being a part of the team.

Yaqoob Al Zarouni joined IMPZ in August 2008, and he is working in partner relation dep’t, his job is to taking care of Internal and External communication, looking after Business Partner and taking care of IMPZ event. Yaqoob’s hobbies are reading stories, watching football games, and photography. ‘I chose IMPZ, because it’s a new place and I want to grow with it, also to develop my skills’.

Sarmad has Joined IMPZ in July 2008 as Senior Sales Coordinator; previously he was working with leasing dept as Senior Leasing Coordinator for 3 years. From Jordan University in Amman, he holds a bachelors’ degree in Geology Science- majoring in Geophysics. Then in 1993 he start his career, and experience journey, he hold several certificate in computer field like CISCO, MCSE, Oracle DBA, Visual Basic.NET, and he worked for more than 7 years in the filed of accounting and Property industry. In winter he like to spend his time in Fishing, Boating, listening to music and watching movies as this is his favorite hobbies, and in normal times he like to sit in front of his computer chasing technology, making researches, reading latest world news, magazines and books. He joined IMPZ because he feels it is a successful organization and very fast growing, which can be an exciting challenging place for him to work with, which will increase and utilize his skills, experience and knowledge.

At university, she was studying Physics & chemistry for 2 years and then she changed her interest to hospitality field and obtains a certificate of hospitality and protocol from CEGIS, Morocco.
Her favorite hobbies are travels, sport and reading.
She is quite impressive by the fact that within IMPZ we value people.

I have joined IMPZ on June 29, 2008 as a receptionist. My duty is to ensure that all the clients are welcomed in the most courteous and pleasant manner and provide support to the administration department. I used to work with the same position and as a Logistics Executive for 2 years in JAFZA before joining TECOM.

Having a bachelors degree in Accounting from the Philippines, most of my interests includes music, singing, current events & internet surfing.
I believe that IMPZ is an organization where you can deal with good and friendliest people, a place for continuous learning and an institution for personal and career development.

Nasheed Joined IMPZ in Jan 2008 and comes with a range of experience in administrative positions before joining IMPZ as administrator looking after complete office administration activities.

A bachelors’ degree holder in commerce stream from India his personal hobbies include listening to music, exploring new places, play snookers/pool/Table Tennis, etc.

He feels IMPZ is a very Dynamic, Fast Growing and successful organization. It is an exciting and challenging place to work which also allows him to tap his potentials and increase his professional knowledge. He feels very fortunate to have found a position which allows him to utilize his skills and experience within the profitable company.
