IMPZ Registers a Presence at Labeltech 2008 through Business Visit

George Vargis – Business development manager from International Media Production Zone & Rajnish Narayanan Director- Marketing recently called on Labeltech 2008, a premier event dedicated to the label printing and converting industry. The event now in its second year, was held in the Western Indian city of Mumbai from March 14-16, 2008.
The event, which has brought a label show to Mumbai after several years, touched on areas like label printing machinery; bar code printer; RFID label machinery; anti-counterfeit technology; label security solutions and applications; self-adhesive materials; testing equipment and accessories; label design, etc.
The compelling factor for IMPZ’s visit was the event’s reach across the entire value chain of label printing technology, decoration, manufacturing, processing and applications in India.
Labeltech 2008 received over 10,000 visitors and 100 exhibitors at the Nehru Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India. Visitors not only received a firsthand look at label printing machinery, technologies and materials all under one roof, but also had the opportunity to hear from key international industry speakers on the trends and growth opportunities in the Indian labeling industry.
A one day conference held on March 15, 2008, provided a wide-ranging and in-depth look at the latest in labeling technology.
IMPZ met several prospects at the event and generated a number of good leads. The visit also culminated in two confirmed leases for the printing cluster.
